Okay, so you stopped by our booth at Shoppe Object. THANK YOU! By now you're probably back home wading through approximately one million business cards trying to remember who everyone was and what they actually did. We’ve been there too.

Trade shows are amazing but also completely overwhelming, so we wanted make sure you had a summary of eatsleepdoodle now the adrenaline has worn off!

Let's start with the basics: what is eatsleepdoodle?

We make color-in gifts for kids, but hear us out, because it's much more than it sounds.

Everything from placemats for kids, pillowcases, children’s pajamas, even pencil cases and cuddly bears. All of which are covered in gorgeous illustrations that kids can color in using special wash-out fabric markers (which come with every product, obviously).

Then, once they've finished coloring, you can throw the whole thing in a normal warm wash, and the ink completely disappears. Like magic. And then kids can color it all over again. And again. And again.

How families actually fall in love with them

The thing is, parents and grandparents don't buy our stuff thinking "oh, a coloring activity." They buy them because they're genuinely useful things.

A placemat that belongs on the table, whether at home or out for a meal. A pillowcase that goes on an actual bed. Pajamas that get worn for real. A tablecloth for all manner of creative sticking and gluing activities!

But then the coloring element transforms them into something kids are genuinely excited about. It gives them something creative and absorbing to do, before dinner while you're cooking, winding down before bed, on a Sunday afternoon when everyone's a bit restless.

And because it's so low-pressure (no right or wrong way, nothing gets "ruined," it all washes out anyway), kids just... do it. They come back to it naturally. Which, let's be honest, is rare.

The three things we hear over and over

"They're actually educational gifts!" Every design we create is packed with learning opportunities. World maps, animals, nature illustrations, story scenes. Kids are picking up knowledge while they color, and they don't even realize it's happening.

"Finally, a screen-free kids activity that works!" . Look, we're not anti-screen. But parents and grandparents are desperate for alternatives, and this really does hold kids' attention.

"They're not a one-time thing!" And because they're reusable gifts, families keep them for years. And when the markers eventually run out, they come back for refills or try another design (10/10 for repeat custom!)
